Connor McClurg Earns Basketball Award

Connor McClurg of San Diego was recently recognized by Army and Navy Academy for his outstanding performance on the school's 2015-16 Varsity Basketball Team. McClurg received the Coaches' Award, given to the player who the coaches most enjoys coaching because he is easy to work with and a joy to have on the team.

"It is easy for young athletes to think solely about their own performance," said Milic. "Our athletes at Army-Navy realize that being part of a team requires thinking about and respecting one's teammates. This respect carries beyond the court. Respect carries into the classroom and social settings. It was with grade pride that we honor these athletes."
