Hadi Assi of Vista Received the 2017 Football Outstanding Player of the Year Award from the Army and Navy Academy

Army and Navy Academy is proud to announce the recipients of the Fall 2017 athletic awards for Football!

Hadi Assi of Vista Received the Outstanding Player of the Year Award. The award is one of the most coveted awards a team member can earn. It recognizes an athlete for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character who had the single most outstanding season.

Hadi Assi is from the Class of 2019 at the Army and Navy Academy.

Varsity Football Went to CIF Playoffs - The Warriors played a tough and gritty California Military School in the inaugural Battle for the Boot game to a victory and the opportunity to keep the trophy at the academy for a year. Winning three games and allowing 18 points between those three teams, the Warriors qualified for the CIF playoffs.

Junior Varsity Football Wins - The JV Warriors, playing a short season this year, with limited numbers, finished the year3-1-1. It was a great year for them.
