Junhua "Michael" Zhu named to the Union-Tribune San Diego All-Academic Cross Country Team.

Army and Navy Academy Athletic Director Tom Tarantino announced the 2013 Fall Season San Diego Union-Tribune Scholar Athletes.

The Union-Tribune San Diego All-Academic Team recognizes juniors and seniors who participated in a California Interscholastic Federation-approved varsity sport who have maintained an un-weighted grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the most current grading period.

Thirty-nine Warrior athletes are recognized for their academic and athletic achievements during the fall 2013 seasons for cross country, football, and water polo.

The Cross Country team includes Junhua "Michael" Zhu of Diamond Bar, CA, class of 2015 at Army and Navy Academy.

"We are proud of our thirty-nine UT Scholar Athletes; they exhibited outstanding commitment and discipline to excel in both the fields of competition and in our classrooms," said Tom Tarantino, Athletic Director at Army and Navy Academy.
