Remy Madarieta Earns the Association of the U.S. Army Award

Remy Madarieta of Cherry Hill was presented with the Association of the U.S. Army Award on Sunday, May 3, during a Military Review and Awards Ceremony at Army and Navy Academy. It was the culminating event of the school's annual Alumni Weekend.

The Association of the U.S. Army Award is a significant achievement. It is presented annually to a senior Cadet who dedicates time and effort to the training and development of younger cadets. The recipient demonstrates qualities of leadership and understands the importance of JROTC training.

"Congratulations on this major accomplishment," said COL Kevin Batule, USA (Ret), and Commandant of Cadets at Army and Navy Academy. "You should be very proud of your outstanding performance of duty."
