Remy Madarieta named to the Union-Tribune San Diego All-Academic Water Polo Team

Army and Navy Academy is pleased to announce the students who have been named 2014 Fall Season San Diego Union-Tribune Scholar Athletes. The team includes Remy Madarieta of Cherry Hill.

The Union-Tribune San Diego All-Academic Team recognizes juniors and seniors who participated in a California Interscholastic Federation-approved varsity sport who have maintained an un-weighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the most current grading period.

Thirty-seven Warrior athletes are recognized for their academic and athletic achievements during the fall 2014 seasons for Cross Country, Football, and Water Polo.

Remy Madarieta has been named to the All-Academic Water Polo team, with a GPA of 3.89

"We are proud of our U-T Scholar Athletes; they exhibited outstanding commitment and discipline to excel in both on the field and in our classrooms," says Tim Cook, Athletic Director at Army and Navy Academy.
