Richard Polanco Lantigua Earns Basketball Award

Richard Polanco Lantigua of Santee was recently recognized by Army and Navy Academy for his outstanding performance on the school's 2015-16 Varsity Basketball Team. Polanco was named Offensive Player of the Year.

"It is easy for young athletes to think solely about their own performance," said Milic. "Our athletes at Army-Navy realize that being part of a team requires thinking about and respecting one's teammates. This respect carries beyond the court. Respect carries into the classroom and social settings. It was with grade pride that we honor these athletes."
