Vanness Zhu Earns the Noncommissioned Officers Awards

Vanness Zhu of Chino Hills was presented with the Noncommissioned Officers Awards on Sunday, May 3, during a Military Review and Awards Ceremony at Army and Navy Academy. It was the culminating event of the school's annual Alumni Weekend.

The Noncommissioned Officers Awards is a significant achievement. It is presented annually to a Cadet who demonstrates outstanding leadership potential, citizenship, and dependability. He is in the top 25% ofh is calss in both academics and JROTC studies, fosters effective relationships with his subordinates, and consistently sets a good example.

"Congratulations on this major accomplishment," said COL Kevin Batule, USA (Ret), and Commandant of Cadets at Army and Navy Academy. "You should be very proud of your outstanding performance of duty."
