Wyatt Duggan of San Diego Received the 2017 Cross Country Coaches' Award from the Army and Navy Academy

Army and Navy Academy is proud to announce the recipients of the Fall 2017 athletic awards for Cross Country!

Wyatt Duggan of San Diego (92106) received the Coaches' Award. This award is given to the player who the coaches find most coachable. This athlete best demonstrates the true spirit of Warrior Athletics.

Wyatt Duggan is from the Class of 2018 at the Army and Navy Academy.

The first Cross Country meet of the 2017 season started off in grand fashion with the ANA cross country team placing first at the 4th annual HTHNC Small Schools Invitational in San Marcos, CA. ANA also participated in the Coach Downey XC Classic and completed its best finish ever as a team in this particular meet, placing 7th out of the 20 schools that ran. The trend of underclassman success held steady throughout this cross country season, culminating with 7 ANA runners scheduled to participate in the 2017 San Diego Section CIF Cross Country Championships (6 are underclassmen). This makes for a bright future for ANA cross country!
