Zhiyao Li Earns Basketball Award

Zhiyao Li of Guangzhou was recently recognized by Army and Navy Academy for his outstanding performance on the school's 2015-16 JV Basketball Team. Li was named Most Valuable Player. This is the most coveted award a team member can earn, marking him as the most outstanding player of the season.

"It is easy for young athletes to think solely about their own performance," said Milic. "Our athletes at Army-Navy realize that being part of a team requires thinking about and respecting one's teammates. This respect carries beyond the court. Respect carries into the classroom and social settings. It was with grade pride that we honor these athletes."
